In the event of a claim, notify us within 14 days of the incident, providing all relevant details. If any information you’ve provided changes or is found to be inaccurate, inform us immediately. Failure to do so may invalidate your claim and policy.

What is this type of insurance?
Depending on the level of cover provided by your retailer, you may be covered for the removal of stains or repairs to accidental damage. You may also be covered for an extension of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Structural defects including:
Frame defects from breakage or warping
Mechanical and electric recliner issues
Metal component breakage
Broken zips, castors, and buttons
Seam and stitching separation
Leather furniture hide lifting or peeling
Foam and fibre interior resilience loss
Cabinet & Dining Furniture:
Staining & accidental damage including:
Water, liquid, or heat marks
Breakage, dents, chips, and scratches penetrating the surface
Glass or mirror breakage, scratches, and chips during normal use
Structural defects including:
Frame breakage or warping
Solid wood furniture cracking
Finish peeling on solid wood
Metal component bending and breakage
Excessive resilience loss
What is not insured?
Deliberate damage
Wear and tear
Damage from incorrect cleaning products or methods
Odour removal, even if caused by a stain
Transit or delivery damage
Damage from animals other than pets
Sunlight, wind, weather, rusting, radiation, fire, smoke, flooding, or corrosion damage
Staining or damage from normal use over time
Are there any restrictions on cover?
Pet damage limited to 3 incidents during the cover period
Policy void if furniture is modified
No cover for furniture used in business premises or let/sublet residential premises
All incidents must be reported within 14 days
Where am I covered?
This policy covers use of the furniture within the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.
When and how do I pay?
Your premium can be paid according to the retailer’s payment methods.
When does the cover start and end?
Coverage starts on the date specified on your certificate and ends on the date specified or if the maximum indemnity level is reached. Misrepresentation and fraud will result in immediate termination of the policy.
How do I cancel the contract?
You can cancel within 14 days from the purchase date or the day you receive your policy documentation, whichever is later, by contacting your retailer or the administrator. Full premium refunds are provided if no claims have been made. For cancellations after the 14-day cooling-off period, contact the organization from which you bought your policy.
